Los Angeles, CA, United States (AHN) – Simon Cowell may just have found the answer to the disappointing ratings for his television reality singing competition the “X Factor.” Now if she will only say yes.
Reports have surfaced that Cowell is in talks with pop diva Janet Jackson to take the seat occupied last season by Paula Abdul.
Michael Jackson’s baby sis is in preliminary negotiations to join the Fox broadcast.
Cowell cleaned house after the end of the show’s first season, purging judges Abdul, Nicole Scherzinger and host Steve Jones.
Abdul and Jackson have worked together in the past. Abdul had been Jackson’s choreographer for several videos in the 1980s.
