Saget died last month from an accidental blow to the head, his family said in a statement.
โThe authorities have determined that Bob passed from head trauma,โ the Saget family said. โThey have concluded that he accidentally hit the back of his head on something, thought nothing of it, and fell asleep. No drugs or alcohol were involved.โ
A maintenance worker discovered his body in a Florida hotel on Jan. 9. He performed in the area as part of a stand-up tour the night before.
Authorities said last month that Saget, 65, was found dead on the hotel bed with no sign of foul play. After Saget failed to check out, a hotel security officer entered his room and called 911 when he found him unresponsive.
