At the height of Monday’s attack, suicide drones rained down on Kyiv, striking fear into the hearts of its residents and leaving behind a trail of destruction. These deadly kamikaze attacks were part of an orchestrated effort by Russia to terrorize civilians and sow chaos in the city.
A drone hit a residential building, causing it to collapse and killing four people. The other three drones hit energy facilities, causing panic among the residents and leaving many with fears of further attacks. This is the second such attack in as many weeks.
When interviewed, Anna Menkova- the region’s vice governor- stated that three individuals had Jumped from the upper floors of the building in an attempt to escape the flames. Unfortunately, all three succumbed to their injuries.
