The Venice Film Festival is awarding its lifetime achievement award this year to Jamie Lee Curtis, an actress that has been in the industry for over 30 years. From her role as Laurie Strode in Halloween and Scream Queens: Sorority Rising, she’s won a Golden Globe Award; from Freaky Friday with Lindsay Lohan. She also acted in True Lies as the wife of a super spy.

Jamie Lee Curtis will pick up her Lifetime Achievement award for “Halloween Kills” on September 8, 2021.
