Julie Chen, who has been a cohost of The Talk since the show aired in 2010, revealed Tuesday she is leaving behind the show. The decision ensued her spouse, Les Moonves, resigned from his position managing the network. She made the sad statement in a pre-taped segment from the set of Big Brother.
Chen’s cohosts on The Talk are Sharon Osbourne, Eve, Sheryl Underwood, and Sara Gilbert. Currently, it’s uncertain if Chen will be substituted on the show, though she mentioned guest host Carrie Ann Inaba as a potential substitution. Chen will remain on her job as host of Big Brother, also on CBS, according to a report from CNN.
