The ACLU tweeted that they are suing South Carolina to end the ban on mask requirements. The ACLU asserts that this ban effectively discriminates against the disabled. South Carolina forces the disabled to choose between their health or education. South Carolina is one of the bottom states in vaccination rates.
BREAKING: Weโre suing to end South Carolinaโs ban on mask requirements in schools, with Disability Rights South Carolina, Able South Carolina, and parents.

Students with disabilities are effectively being excluded from public schools because of this ban.
