The City of Atlanta which operates the airport, wanted to increase premium options. Three companies responded, American Express, Airport Dimensions, and Plaza Premium.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The City of Atlanta selected American Express \u201cdue to the premium and uniquely positioned non-commercial-venture, combined with the considerable invested commitment in HJAIA and the City.\u201d according to documents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We are not sure about the opening date and location.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Guests Who Typically Have Access to The Centurion Lounge<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>American Express Platinum Card Members<\/li><li>Delta SkyMiles Reserve Card Members<\/li><li>American Express Centurion Card Members<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>These card members will welcome the additional options , especially those that fly Delta. Atlanta is the largest city in the US without a Centurion Lounge. American Express has opened several airport lounges at Chicago O\u2019Hare, Philadelphia and Seattle airports.
