Janet Bewley, 70, the minority leader of the Senate, was driving east on State Highway 2 when she was involved in an accident. An eastbound vehicle driven by Jodi Munson, 45, of Mason, Wisconsin, hit Ortman&#8217;s car after it &#8220;spun across the highway.&#8221; Alyssa Ortman, 27, of Pennsylvania, was driving westbound on the highway when she was struck.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Authorities discovered at the scene that Ortman&#8217;s daughter had died. A short time later, Ortman passed away at Memorial Medical Center.
