American superstar Caeleb Dressel broke his own world record on way to 100m butterfly glory – landing his third gold of these Olympic Games.
The Speedo star was hugely impressive as he shaved 0.5s off the record he set in 2019 to come home in a time of 49.45s.
Dressel was wearing the USA Federation print of the Speedo LZR Pure Intent – a suit in which he played a huge part in developing.

Later today, Dressel will anchor the USA in the 4x100m mixed medley relay whilst he will also look qualify and secure his place in the 50m freestyle final.
