Don’t worry – there are plenty of vegan chocolate options for vegans! In this article we will explore the best vegan chocolate available on the market today.

Everyone loves to eat chocolate, but there are many different varieties. Some people prefer the dark chocolate because it is bitter and has a high cocoa content, while others like milk chocolate for its sweeter flavor. One thing that everyone can agree on, however, is how much they love to eat vegan-friendly chocolate!

Why Vegan Chocolate

It’s no secret that chocolate is delicious. But what a lot of people don’t realize about the traditional version of this confection, which includes dairy products like milk and cream, is that it can also be quite unhealthy for you in large quantities. Luckily there are plant-based versions available as well.

Vegan chocolate refers to cocoa beans that have been processed without the use of milk, cream or refined sugar. These are often called “raw” chocolate because they have been processed at a lower temperature to retain more of the cocoa’s natural flavor and nutrients.

There is also dark chocolate- this variety has a high concentration of cacao solids with little added sugar or milk ingredients.

White Chocolate

And then there is white chocolate not one of the healthiest chocolate options, but it is vegan. White chocolate doesn’t actually contain any cocoa solids and instead contains sugar, milk products, and vanilla flavoring with a little bit of vegetable fat added to give it that nice creamy texture.

In order to be truly considered vegan white chocolate should not have been processed using animal products.

Other Vegan Options for Chocolate

There are many other options for vegan chocolate if you don’t want to stick with the standard dark or white varieties. Many stores now offer a variety of options that come in different flavors and textures, so it is worth looking around your grocery store’s chocolate aisle when trying to find some new choices.
